Local Residents Named AP Scholars
2012 Aug 30Several local residents who attended from Randolph-Macon Academy during the 2011-12 school year have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams. The College Board's Advanced Placement ProgramA(R) (APA(R)) provides willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP Exams. In May 2012, more than 2 million high school students at over 18,000 schools worldwide took AP Exams.
