Cadet Colonel Emma Bunker of Berryville, a senior at Randolph-Macon Academy received The MacArthur Cadet of the Year Award on Thursday, March 24, 2016. This is a national award sponsored by The Douglas MacArthur Foundation of Norfolk, Virginia. The award recognizes a cadet who demonstrates exceptional performance of duties and responsibilities in a leadership role throughout the year.

Emma is the daughter of Rev. Jonathan Bunker and Dr. Susan Gawalt of Berryville VA.
