Caroline Alexander Inducted Into the National Honor Society and the National English Honor Society

C. Grace Alexander, the daughter of Lyle and Mindy Alexander of Front Royal, was inducted into the National Honor Society and the National English Honor Society at Randolph-Macon Academy during a special ceremony conducted in November. National Honor Society candidates must have an overall GPA of 3.75 or higher and excellent teacher recommendations. They must also have demonstrated effective leadership, and good citizenship, and have completed 25 hours to the community within the last year. To be selected for the NEHS, a student must have completed at least one semester of Honors or AP English and earned at least a grade point average of 3.5, including an average of at least 3.7 in Honors and AP English courses. The student must also have attended R-MA for at least one semester and display exemplary conduct and honor.

Grace is a sophomore at Randolph-Macon Academy.

Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational day and boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in R-MA's 91st Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) and have the option to participate in a unique flight program. R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
