Caroline Alexander Receives Award at Randolph-Macon Academy

C. Grace Alexander, the daughter of Lyle and Mindy Alexander of Front Royal, was recognized for outstanding achievement at Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA) at the school's first end-of-year awards ceremony on May 14, 2012. Grace was recognized for attaining an Honorable Mention on the National German Language Exam, received the American Citizenship Award and was recognized as a member of "The Academy's Own" for assisting the Admission Department. Grace was a sophomore at Randolph-Macon Academy during the 2011-12 school year.

Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in R-MA's 91st Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC), which is currently recognized as a Distinguished Unit, and have the opportunity to learn to fly through a unique flight program. R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
