Carolyn Laourdakis Named Top Summer Reader

Carolyn Laourdakis of Winchester, a sophomore at Randolph-Macon Academy, has been named a "top performer" on the Academy's summer reading assessments for her grade level.

Carolyn is the daughter of Tonja Phillips of Winchester, VA and Thomas Laourdakis of Front Royal, VA.

Each year, students at Randolph-Macon Academy are required to complete summer reading assignments. Upon their return in the fall, the students complete projects and/or take assessment tests based on those assigned books. The students with the highest scores in each grade level earn the honor of "top performer."
