Dennis Ponn Receives Air Force JROTC Award at Randolph-Macon Academy

Dennis Ponn of Marshall, a senior at Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), has been honored for his leadership and performance within the Virginia 91st Air Force JROTC unit at the school. Dennis received the The Air Commando Association Award. This award is presented to the cadet who possesses the 13 Critical Attributes of Success that distinguish an elite Air Force Special Operations Command Air Commando. The 13 attributes are: Integrity, Self-Motivation, Intelligence, Self-Discipline, Perseverance, Adaptability, Maturity, Judgment, Selflessness, Leadership, Skilled, Physical Fitness, and Family Strength. The award was presented on Thursday, April 13, 2017, in Boggs Chapel, as part of the Spring Family Days Celebration.

Dennis is the son of Ward and Lori Ponn of Marshall, VA.
