Dong Eun Go Receives Awards at Randolph-Macon Academy

Dong Eun Go, the daughter of Chunlim go and Myungsun Ban of Ulsan, Korea, was recognized for outstanding achievement at Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA) at the school's first end-of-year awards ceremony on May 11, 2015.

Amy received the Certificate of Appreciation, The American Citizenship Award and the Certificate of Outstanding Achievement : Honors Spanish III. The Certificate of Appreciation from the Admission Office recognizes students for significant contributions by participating in open houses, campus tours, shadow days and off-campus events. The American Citizenship Award recognizes students who exhibit outstanding citizenship behavior in the R-MA community, serve on the Student Council, and have logged numerous hours of community service. Amy was a sophomore at Randolph-Macon Academy during the 2014-15 school year.

Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in R-MA's 91st Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC), and have the opportunity to learn to fly through a unique flight program. R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
