Emma Bunker Receives Class Night Award at Randolph-Macon Academy

Emma Bunker of Berryville received a prestigious award at Randolph-Macon Academy during the Class Night ceremony held May 29, 2015. Emma, who is the daughter of Rev. Jonathan Bunker and Dr. Susan Gawalt of Berryville, received Shenandoah Valley Chapter United States Daughters of 1812 Award. This award is presented to a JROTC student who has demonstrated qualities of academic excellence, leadership, military discipline, dependability, patriotism and upright character in speech and habits, which exemplify the ideals upon which our nation was founded.

Emma was a junior at the Academy during the 2014-15 school year.
