George D. Beals Graduates from Randolph-Macon Academy

George D. Beals, the son of Darlene and William Beals of Centennial, graduated from Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA on May 25, 2013.

He was a Corps of Cadets Squadron Adjutant and a member of the National Honor Society while at the Academy. At the end of the school year, he received the Presidential Academic Education Award for Academic Excellence, the Certificate of Excellence for Ground School, and the Literary Magazine Award for Poetry. Beals participated in varsity cross-country.

Beals was named to the President's List for the fourth quarter of achieving a grade point average above 4.0. He will attend United States Air Force Academy in the fall.

Randolph-Macon Academy, founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps and have the opportunity to participate in a unique flight program. R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
