Gordon Anderson Appointed to Leadership Position at Randolph-Macon Academy

Gordon Anderson of Front Royal has been appointed to the student leadership organization of cadre within the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) at Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA). Gordon is the son of Greg Anderson of Front Royal and Mary Anderson also of Front Royal, and is a senior at R-MA. He received the position of Corps Commander with the rank of cadet lieutenant colonel. Only students with records of strong academics and leadership abilities are eligible for the Academy's cadet officer and non-commissioned officer ranks.

Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in R-MA's 91st Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC). R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
