Gordon Anderson Graduates from Randolph-Macon Academy

Gordon Thomas Anderson of Front Royal, the son of Gregory Anderson of Front Royal and Mary Kay Anderson also of Front Royal, graduated from Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA on May 30, 2015.

During his time at Randolph-Macon Academy Gordon played golf and soccer. He received the President's Award for Academic Achievement and the President's List. He was also the recipient of the MacArthur Cadet of the Year Award, the Commandant's Award and the Most Genteel Male Award during his senior year. He was also the recipient of the Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction Award his junior year and the National Sojourners Award his sophomore year. While at R-MA Gordon was involved in National Honor Society,National English Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Science Honor Society and the Honor Council.During the year he held the position of Corps Commander in the Corp of Cadets.

Gordon will attend Eastern Kentucky University in the fall.

Randolph-Macon Academy, founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps and have the opportunity to participate in a unique flight program. R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
