Gordon Anderson Receives Scholarship at Randolph-Macon Academy

Gordon Anderson, the son of Greg Anderson of Front Royal and Mary Anderson also of Front Royal, was awarded The Gregory W. Swaim '81 Memorial Flight Scholarship and The BHEM Methodist Foundation Scholarship at Randolph-Macon Academy's Scholarship Recognition Ceremony held on November 22, 2014.

Mrs. Virginia E. Raney and Dr. Charles B. Swaim ’77 have established an annual scholarship in memory of their deceased son and brother, Gregory W. Swaim, Class of 1981. This scholarship provides financial support to deserving students in the Academy’s flight program. To qualify, a student must be in good academic standing and participate or want to participate in the Randolph-Macon Academy flight program. The BHEM Methodist Foundation Scholarship is awarded by the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation, which is privileged to support tomorrow’s leaders through this annual scholarship program. Students must be Methodist, write an essay and be a strong student with a GPA above a 3.0.
