McKenzie Marshall Graduates from Randolph-Macon Academy

McKenzie Marshall, the daughter of Robert and Terri Marshall of Palmyra, graduated from Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA on May 25, 2013.

She was the Corps of Cadets Squadron Executive Officer, a member of the National German Honor Society, and the Senior Class President while at the Academy. At the end of the school year, she received recognition for being awarded an Army ROTC Scholarship and also received the Most Genteel Female Award. Marshall participated in varsity soccer, basketball and cross-country. Her athletic honors included the Outstanding Sportsman Award, the Pat Spears Jr. Mile Award, and the R-MA MVP Award for both cross-country and soccer. Marshall was also named to the Delaney Athletic Conference 1st Team, All-Conference, for both cross-country and soccer. In addition, she was named to the Northern Virginia Daily's All-Area First Team for soccer.

Marshall was named to the Dean's List for the fourth quarter for achieving a grade point average above 3.5. She will attend George Mason University in the fall.

Randolph-Macon Academy, founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps and have the opportunity to participate in a unique flight program. R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
