Peter Jin Receives Recognition During Class Night

During Randolph-Macon Academy's prestigious Class Night Awards ceremony on May 23, 2013, the top students were recognized. Peter Jin, the son of Weishan Jin and Li Chen of Salt Lake City, received a United States Air Force Academy appointment and a National Honor Society Scholarship. Jin also received the Science Medal and the Scholastic Excellence Award, which recognizes academic achievements as well as leadership. In addition, Jin received the Academy President's Leadership Award, which recognizes a cadet for sustained superior performance over a period of years and for significant and lasting contributions to the VA-091 AFJROTC Cadet Corps.

Jin was a senior at the Academy during the 2012-13 school year.
