Savannah Rhodes Performs at National Convention

Savannah Rhodes, the daughter of Richard and Sheryl Rhodes of Reston, performed for a crowd of approximately 9,500 people at the Edward Jones Dome in Saint Louis, Missouri on April 14, 2012. Savannah is a member of the Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA) Chorus, which, in conjunction with the R-MA Band, performed an hour-long concert, "A Salute to Freedom," as part of the National Rifle Association's "Celebration of American Values Freedom Experience."
Savannah is a sophomore at the Academy.
Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in R-MA's 91st Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC), which is currently recognized as a Distinguished Unit with Merit. R-MA offers a unique flight program as well as summer programs. The Academy is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
