Tianyi Sun Named Cadet of the Quarter at Randolph-Macon Academy

Tianyi Sun of Beijing, a sophomore at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA, has been named "Cadet of the Quarter" for the first quarter of the 2016-17 school year. Sunny, the daughter of Mr. Gang Sun and Mrs. Cuiping Qiao of Beijing, China, was nominated for the award by the VA 91st Air Force JROTC First Squadron Commander, Cadet Captain Yifei "Helen" Peng. Sunny is one of six cadets in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) at Randolph-Macon Academy to receive the award this quarter.
