Tyler Vaughan Graduates from Randolph-Macon Academy

Tyler Benjamin Vaughan of Front Royal, the son of Wally and Michele Vaughan of Front Royal, graduated from Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA on May 30, 2015.

During his time at Randolph-Macon Academy Twinkie played football, basketball, lacrosse and baseball, in which he won baseball Most Improved Player and football conference 1st team for defensive back. He received the Valedictorian, Presidential Academic Education Award for Academic Excellence, President's List, Kemper History Medal, Math Medal, and Certificates of Outstanding Achievement for AP Biology and Honors Utopia/Dystopia. He was also the recipient of the Football Sportsmanship Award, Randolph-Macon Academy Scholar/Athlete Award and Athlete of the Year. While at R-MA Twinkie was involved in National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, and National Science Honor Society.During the year he held the position of 2nd Squadron Executive in the Corp of Cadets.

Twinkie will attend James Madison University in the fall.

Randolph-Macon Academy, founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps and have the opportunity to participate in a unique flight program. R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
