Tyler Vaughan Receives Recognition During Randolph-Macon Academy Class Night

During Randolph-Macon Academy's prestigious Class Night Awards ceremony on May 29, 2015, the top students were recognized. Tyler Vaughan of Front Royal, the son of Wally and Michele Vaughan of Front Royal, received the honor of being named Valedictorian, the Football Sportsmanship Award, the Randolph-Macon Academy Scholar/Athlete Award, the Athlete of the Year Award, the Math Medal, and the Kemper History Medal. The Football Sportsmanship Award is presented to a senior on the varsity football team who best exemplifies the qualities of sportsmanship by always giving his best and graciously accepting the results of each and every play. The Randolph-Macon Academy Scholar/Athlete Award is presented to honor academic and athletic excellence.

Twinkie was a senior at the Academy during the 2014-15 school year.
